1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using MedBrief (“the Service”) at medbrief.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
MedBrief provides AI-generated plain-English summaries of publicly available medical research studies sourced from PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov. Summaries are provided for informational purposes only.
3. Not medical advice
MedBrief does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. All content on MedBrief — including AI-generated summaries, quality badges, and study metadata — is for informational and educational purposes only.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any decisions about your health or treatment. Do not disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of anything you read on MedBrief.
4. AI-generated content
Study summaries are generated by AI and reviewed by a second AI agent. Despite our quality review process, AI-generated summaries may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. We provide a link to the original study on all summary pages. You are encouraged to verify any information that is important to you by reading the original source.
5. Beta terms
MedBrief is currently in free beta. During the beta period, all features are available at no charge. We reserve the right to:
- —Introduce paid plans after the beta period ends
- —Modify or remove features during beta
- —Terminate the beta at any time with reasonable notice
Beta users who remain active through the end of the beta period will receive a permanent 50% discount on any paid plans introduced.
6. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your login credentials or allow others to access your account. You agree to notify us immediately at contact@medbrief.org if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:

- —Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from MedBrief without our permission
- —Submit false or misleading ratings or feedback
- —Attempt to circumvent any security measures or access controls
- —Represent AI-generated summaries as your own original work
8. Intellectual property
The MedBrief name, logo, and design are our intellectual property. The underlying medical studies are sourced from public databases (PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov) and remain the property of their respective authors and publishers. AI-generated summaries are produced by MedBrief but are based on publicly available scientific literature.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that summaries will be accurate or complete. Use the Service at your own risk.
